"Shine" Athletic Cap in Raspberry | VimHue x Revel Girl

At the origin of Revel Girl, we had it in our minds to create a hat that was entirely made by women. From head to thread, so to speak.

We sent our favorite women-engineered VimHue athletic caps over to to women-operated Four Hands Embroidery to bring women-owned Maus Creative's artistry to life. This project began 2021 and we're beyond excited to share it with you this season.

VimHue's athletic caps were dreamt up by Founder Katy Lim in response to a lack of adequately fitting baseball caps in a male-dominated market. Katy began to rigorously research the anatomy of the female head in order to pattern out, and sew her own science-backed caps. Not only are her patented hats completely re-engineered from the ground up to precisely fit the female form, Katy also took hairstyles into consideration allowing ponytails to swing free from the fabric confines of the traditional baseball cap. The result is a cap you won't ever want to leave home without.

This hat features VimHue's unique Sun Goddess back, which includes an adjustable ring for your pony or bun to slip through with ease.
